  • Join your host, Chef Diego, for this authentic Peruvian Ceviche cooking class. In this class, you will learn how to select the perfect cut of fish, vegetables, and ingredients to make the best tasting ceviche from anywhere in the world. Chef Diego will teach you special tips, history of the dish, and authentic secrets on how to make your ceviche just like a Peruvian.

    You will be guided step-by-step on how to create your very own ceviche dish. Each guest will have their own station and tools to cut and break down the fish and vegetables. Chef Diego will also teach you how to make Leche de Tigre (“Tiger’s Milk”), which is one of the key ingredients used to make an authentic Peruvian Ceviche.   • Come and learn how to spread, layer, tuck and roll your way to sushi heaven. In this fun, hands-on, social cooking class you’ll practice all the skills needed to make sushi rolls at home. You'll start by learning how to prepare and season sushi rice, select sushi-grade fish, and add additional tasty vegetables and other ingredients to enhance the deliciousness of your sushi.     Guests will have the opportunity to make a traditional pork filling or veggie filling for their dumplings. You will learn a standard folding technique to master the most authentic way to make your own dumplings at home. Chef Diego will teach the proper techniques for cooking the dumplings, using both steaming and pan frying methods. Before sitting down to enjoy your creations, Chef will also teach you how to make a dipping sauce using soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and sesame oil.

What to Expect During Our Classes

  • No experience is required! Our classes are casual and meant to be fun, relaxing, and instructive, not hardcore. These classes are designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.

  • Classes take place in Chef Diego’s space in the Upper East Side. The location is conveniently located near the 86th Street 4, 5, and 6 trains and 86th Street Q train. Full directions and details will be provided after booking.

    Private and Corporate Classes have the option of choosing to host their experience in their own spaces.

  • You do not need to bring anything at all! We provide students with all of the equipment and ingredients that you will need. If you are over the age of 21, you are welcome to BYOB. Please drink responsibly!

  • All of our classes include all equipment and ingredients necessary to prepare your meal. Chef Diego also provides complimentary water selection, soft drinks, and snacks. Private classes include a few extra bonuses that are detailed on each offering. For all classes, we will also provide you a copy of the recipe upon completion so that you can recreate the dish at home.
